It wont. There are so many nutswingers who havent even been in an M car that loved the E46 M3 and the CSL M3 so much...granted I can see why, but that car is definetly overhyped. Everyone now freaks out over the new E92 M3....but guess what, torque is where it matters on the street, this new V8 engine may be lighter, but thats because the old one was a 3.2 iron block bored out as much as you can get it that remained the same pretty much since 95 or so...badass engine that I'm glad is still around and hasnt changed (the only BMW engine around that isnt aluminum/magnesium anymore)

But this new V8 is flat out stupid. Its rated at 295 ft lbs....RATED at 295, whereas the 335i already bone STOCK has consistently cranked out 300 ft lbs at the wheels!! IMO BMW had to detune the crap out of this engine because they realized how good it was...much better than the M3 after all. In fact, if you put the variable lock M diff in the 335i, theres no reason at all outside of asthetics to even get an M3...especially with the freakin 135i coming out which will be faster!
