It might not be under warranty coverage if the dealership feels it was being ragged on. Especially if the car only has 6k and all of the sudden the transmission is broken. A transmission won't break at 6k if you drive it normally. Now if your beating on it, miss a gear and drop it into the wrong gear at a high rate of speed I can see it happening. I just don't see it breaking at 6k with normal driving.
