i'm not for street racing because of the obvious reasons.
however, I'm not gonna argue against it for your dumbshit reasons.
For all of you that spend so much time at the track, you shoud realize what makes a good track, and what makes a dangerous track. Sunshine was very dangerous. The right lane especially. it bumped, and hooked, and curved. I can find better roads than that in P-park.
The only track that is worth a shit is BMP... unless you wanna drive to orlando....
I agree with the whole, cops need to be doing something about it, beyond writting tickets and taking cars. I wish I could find the link to it, but out in like california (I might be wrong on that) the cops put together, sponsor, and run races every month. They have hundreds of cars out. The cops race. the kids race. the whole nine yard. They set the track up like a street race. and they run races all night. The cops use their "anti street race" budget to pay for it. So it is free for the racers. It has worked like a charm. I wanna say something like a 50% cut in street races in one year.
But where could we do something like that?
How many planes do you see using the run way at 2 am saturday night/sunday morning? Even if they charged a few bucks per car to assist with maintaining the runway, they would still make money. I don't know about you, but I personally think that would be badass. You'll never get rid of "us" you can however, give us a place to do it "safer"
Yeah sure, there are tracks to go to, but what about the crowd of racers that come out in the middle of the night? even if the track was free, it still isn't open when we want it. same goes for those crazy drifters. Stop the drag races for a while and let the drifters do their thing.
Make a big sign that says that you do it all at your own risk. yadda yadda yadda and collect a few bucks per car and have a good time.
