Um... The expense for them to set up the stings and fly their heli's after you are not being paid by tax payers. They are being paid by the idiotic street racers themselves. In fines, and the sale of their cars.
Besides, even if there is an expense its something that I will be happy to pay for. It would really suck to see you morons having a big dick contest and ruin an innocent family who was headed home from church.
I say they need to confiscate cars on the first offense period. I have been hit by these kids before and I consider myself lucky.
