The note sounds like a bad idea because you'd be mind setting yourself into failure. But if your that worried about something happening to you, maybe now is not the time to take that risk if ever. Or you could just ride the track like a lot of people do.

i have lived through a fatal accident, the accident would have been fatal of the nurse that forgot her purse that morning, would have brought her purse with her......... You just never know. You have to be able to live with whatever happens everytimne you put that helmet on, and twist the throttle. Never in a million years, would i have pictured my self with a half a leg, having to go through what i went through, putting my family, and friends through that shit. it was never planned, i didnt get up that morning and decide today was the day i am going to have a nasty wreck, and lose my leg". Shit happens, there are numoruos people on this forum who have wrecked, by no fault of there on, or doing something stupid. You can ask them, did they want to wreck that day, or planned on it???? Yes there are people out there that do stupid shit everyday, i use to wheelie. Did i know what could happen if i lost it/someone cut out in front of me/leaned to farback/gravel in the road etc.......the list goes on for the factors. I knew what the out come could be, lose of life, lose of freedom for a manslaughter charg/ fucked up bike/ fucked up body, that i did know could happen if i ever went down doing stupid shit, or just riding period.
Shit happens, there called "ACCIDENTS" for a reason. Shit can happen anywhere, i dont give a fuck how good you think you can ride, you may never see that car coming that didnt stop for the sign/light.
I think the kids idea is a good one in the sense of it, but like a couple members have said, you said thank and tell the ones you love as many times as possible.
