if it was just qualifying/shakedown there is no reason he has to go on the green, alot of people wait for the other guy to go for a number of reasons. usually to avoid instances like that where 2 cars would have gotten tangled together. alot of street car guys who do not have telemetry will wait for the other guy to go if the other car is louder. you want to be able to hear things with your car, next to a WOT big block with 2 1/4" stepped primaries and no mufflers isn't real condusive to hear anything.
