As for me saying I know more than you, who the fuck are you, The Car God. Is your mind a plethura of all knowledge when it comes to cars ? I hope not because in this matter you are wrong. Where is the proof to any of what you are saying ? Or is that because you are a self proclaimed Honda God you think you know everything ? Please enlighten me oh holy one.
Why do people feel the need to throw down with the wack language when they talk to me?

Anyways....Who I am? I am a nice guy who has tinkered around on some things here and there. Tuned over a hundred cars, designed many aircraft and helicopter components, performed many stress and thermal analyses on jet and helicopter systems and just so happen to have a honda that uses the race gas in question and makes around 650whp on race gas and 510whp on pump gas. So ignoring anything that I have learned from my daily job of thermodynamics and combustion....and lets just look at what I have learned from tuning over a hundred or so cars.

When you run race gas.....why do want to ADD timing? It is because of the burn rate and the specific gravity of the gas. Race gas is less prone to detonation, primarily because of the burn rate and the stabilization of the fuel properties. Flash burn characteristics as you go up in motor octane improve and you can run more timing at a more controlled explosion.

So to recap....running a car that has been optimally tuned for 93 octane and now you put C16 in the car, I promise you the car will lose power. Not to mention losing all that money that you just spent on the race gas because you think you know what you are talking about.

Nice first post....kinda makes sense...but there is one problem. If the car is optimally tuned for pump gas.....there will be no need for race gas. But go ahead and spend the 12 bucks a gallon on your race gas and let me know how your "siturbo" runs. Hopefully the SSAC turbo doesn't eat the compressor wheel from the surge or the wastegate fall off while dj_simplisity is riding behind you in his dsm.

But anywho....I don't know crap so keep pumping your cars with race gas and good luck at the track.
