Ummm ill give it a shot, lol... Ok lets say your coming up to T-1 at jennings. Pay attention to when you first get on the brakes, what your trying to do is scrub off as much speed in a straight line and compress the forks before you start to trail brake. When you're scrubbing off speed in a straight line, yes you do want your body fairly close to the bike, which is why i think i confused you when i told you i hang off the bike corner entry... this is why i hang off the bike: once I start to trail brake, i want to put the most amount of weight in the direction im going. If you go into a corner close to the bike on the brakes, its harder to turn because all that weight is still going in one direction... I promise to explain this a little better if we meet on a ride or something

its all about shifting your weight around
So kinda simply said, the more weight on the inside of the bike the better it will turn.
