The alpine is going to be a really nice unit when it comes out. I was talking to some guys at AVE and they said the only true difference is gonna be the touchscreen, which the alpine wont have. I am doing the smae thing.. but I watch tv on it more than anyhitng cause I dont have many dvd's...
but for the simplified install I wil lbe going for the monitor hu etc
