What makes Fram filters bad? i've been using them in my car for 40k miles ... and what other filters are out there to buy lol? Cause i've never seen any other brands unless you buy from the dealer, and F that.

I'm not sticking up for the filters, i'm concerned and want to know why they're bad and what i should use instead
