the driver of the civic was DRUNK !!!! crashed and his passenger drunk or not got out and walked across the road on the downside of a bridge. ending up with 2 young people dead.... this was a VERY AVOIDABLE accident....

So this has absolutely nothing to do with street racing or meeting up there, its just something that happened and just happened to be there. It very well could have happened after a QSL meet and the drivers decided to take 60 back into tampa.
Honestly whos to say nothing will happen before/after/during a TR event. Theres still a chance no differently than theres a chance of being in an accident everytime you step into your car. Does that mean you shouldnt drive?? So whats the difference between a meet at causeway and one of these other meets, Id say most of the same people are going to be at them. The same crap will happen when they get to big. So dont go getting all high and mighty about lumping everyone that is out there together, cause your no different than us.
