You do not need to change your alternator, injectors etc.
All that is REQUIRED/Different is:
Obd0 to obd1 jumper harness
Ecu
Distributor needs to be obd1 or obd2a/b
Oxygen sensor is 4 wire instead of one, however on chipped obd1 ecus you can disable the o2 sensor, hence you dont need an o2.
The only time you would need different injectors is if you wanted to remove the resistor box. Stock obd0 injectors are low impedance 2-3 ohms, all low impedance injectors require a resistor box.
High impedance 12-13 ohm injectors do not.
if he is using a obd1 DOHC ecu in a obd1 car like stated in the post, why would he need a jumper harness? also plz correct me if i am wrong but i thought all odb1 cars dont have resistor boxes....which is why i thought he could not run the obd0 injectors

you CAN run the obd0 alt. if you have the plug and you splice it into the wires. and you DONT need a newer manni but i use one just cuz its cleaner and not as clutered as the old style....but thats just me
