Back in '95 two buddies and I spray painted the headliner of an '82 CVCC Civic Hatch back metallic Silver.
It was that band aid looking pleather material and even after 2 weeks that shit still wasn't dry.
For weeks us 3 amateurs tried almost everything to get the car started but it was a No-Go.
Then one day we decided to puff on a Blunt and then out of pure boredom.....pull the car around the block with a riding lawnmower.
My friend Gary drove the lawnmower, Nick was in the passenger seat and I was steering the civic with the radio blasting (Our uber custom Homemade speaker box made out of plywood and nails, screws, and a lot of caulking, spray painted black, with 2 10" house speakers, 4 house tweeters and a blue Jensen 200watt amp).
We were coming up to a stop sign and I slammed on the brakes!!!
Nick went flying into the dash board because the seat wasn't bolted down and slammed his head into the A pillar and headliner.....He had Silver paint all up in his hair, Gary actually got the tires to screech on the lawnmower and snapped the rope that was pulling the car in two.
We then had to push the car home with the lawn mower and ended up bending the brackets that held the lawnmowers hood on,....Oops!

Just as we were 2 houses down...back from our 1 hour journey, A cop pulled up behind us and threw on his lights and siren.
Gary's dumb ass neighbor called the cops and said we were obstructing traffic.
This was in a quiet neighborhood and the only car we saw during that whole trip was his neighbor, Once!!!.

After calling backup and keeping us pulled over for 20 minutes, The cop let us go and couldn't keep a straight face the whole time we were explaining our selves, But what a sight that was to see 3 kids with a rider lawnmower pushing a primer '82 civic hatch and two cop cars behind us with all lights flashing while Nick was bleeding from a small cut on his forehead and Silver paint all up in his dark brown hair.

Ahhh, Those were the days!!!!................Good Times, Good Times!
