Lot of confusing information posted in here that is somewhat incorrect. Here are the facts:
If you have COLLISION coverage on your policy, this covers only the damages to YOUR vehicle. COLLISION is also commonly refered to as "full coverage".
LIABILITY coverage pays damages/injuries to other parties for which you are liable (i.e. at-fault) for.
So in this example, her policy will pay up to her policy max for Property Damage to the semi truck. If she doesn't have Collision coverage, her policy won't pay for any damages to her car.
