Default FS: 87 Toyota Cressida RWD Sedan - OG VIP

FOR SALE: 1987 Toyota Cressida
Got this car from a friend who was moving and couldn't take the time to work on it. I fixed some electrical gremlins and fixed a few things here and there to get the car back to reliable driving order. I drove it around for a good month and a half while my daily was down.

My intention was to put in 5-speed, LSD and coilovers and drift the piss out of it, but I have other projects that are taking priority. This would be perfect for someone who is looking for a different drift car that isn't a PITA to work on.

Good:
- RWD
- Shares many many parts with other Toyotas from the era (clutch parts, suspension, differential, engine, etc)
- Starts and runs every day
- Beautiful blue interior with plush cloth
- Uncracked dash (starting to dry out over gauge cluster)
- Rust free with exception of 2 small spots
- Old Skool 14" centerline wheels
- New alternator with lifetime warranty and belt
- New PW switch
- Strong gripping auto trans
- Strong grabbing Ebrake
- New GR2 shocks as of 1 year ago
- No blown headgasket!!
- Old enough to qualify for classic car insurance ($25/mo)
- 129,XXX miles and clean title

Bad:
- PS rack leaks everywhere, so I bypassed the P/S right now. Just needs a seal set and some work putting them in.
- Electronic controls are a little sticky, so AC controls and Sunroof need to be pressed firmly to work
- Some missing trim (center vents, steering column cover, armrest cover, driver's window switch bexel) due to the car being 20 eyars old, but it's nothing that can't be pilfered from the junkyard
- Pees some coolant once in a while due to no overflow tank
- 2 small inconsequential rust spots; one on sunroof cover and one in the tool cubby in the trunk.

Pics:

Asking $1600 obo for the car with wheels, W58 transmission, tranny mount, clutch disc, pressure plate, clutch master, slave, rice-overs, weaponR filter and tube, and some other misc goodies. I'm quite negotiable on the price. You're welcome to offer trades, but I'm really only interested in a Porsche 944 or bare CRX shell.

Best way to get ahold of me is either via PM here or email (mranlet@tmail.com). I can happily arrange to meet to look for you to take a look at the car in person in the evenings or at XAT Racing (where I work) during if you notify me the day before. Phone is 941-224-7235 and AIM is CRUNCHmonster.

Thanks for looking!
