dino, i got out as a Cpl, pay wasnt too bad, but wasnt where i needed to be. i make twice as much working for Progressive. plus i dont know about you, but i didnt really spend alot of time at home. mostly in the field monday to friday, you have to have a strong ass family to do that shit. which i have, i just dont want to drag my family through not seeing me, and moving them every couple of years. you cannot say that the Marine Corps hasnt ruined alot of families

Yes, the Corps has torn many a family apart. It pretty much ruined my first marriage. Helped my second, but in the end, probably had a hand in the downfall of that one, too!

There's not an active duty guy alive who hasn't done it at least once! If/when I go into the reserves, I'm sure I'll get shit, too. It's the circle of life.
