what kind of primer because you might have screwed yourself if you went and bought that duplicolor crap if you want to use any descent paint alot of times those primers can cause problems with the good paint systems like PPG sikkens and dupont suck as lifting or wrinkling or even worse shrinking and creating primer lines where you had bondo and primed over it best thing to do if you used the duplicolor crap is sand as much of it off as possiable with 320 grit or 400 good clean way is by hand water sanding.... then go to a paint store like American Icon and get some K36 primer by ppg it doesnt react as bad as other primers would with duplicolor and put 2 medium coats on the car mixed 5:1 with k201 hardner then prep as you would for paint mix the same k36 4:2:2:1 with 4 parts k36 2 parts DMD base 2 Parts global reducer 1 part dx61 hardner that is the mix for the sealer covers sand scrathces real well and the primer is good cause once it sets it doesnt shrink use the sealer wet on wet meaning apply your base after a 10-15 min flash time need any other advice PM me ppg is good paint i can get away with using a littl under 3 quarts on a normal sized car where as u might need 5-6 quarts with some of the colors on dupont and PPG clear is awsome about the same price as the dupont chromaclear if you want american icon number text me 813-843-0600 and if you tell them i sent you they will probably give you a discount they have for everyone ive sent to them i think the paint generally run about 69-75 a quart depending on the mix and solid colors a bit cheaper hope this helps
