Used to be held on a Friday morning near the city incinerator
and police impound lot.

I've seen cars sold for $30. I know that some guy doesn't want a $30 car, he wants the sound system inside, or the clothes inside, or maybe he takes it home, washes it, waxes it, and rolls it out into the front yard with a sign on it: "for sale $200"...............plenty of people want to buy a $200 car..........................

Next month, the guy shows up and buys SIX $30 cars and starts turning over some fast under-the-table-cash ...........

I been down there and bid on cars, but I don't bid 30. I bid $50 to
scare off the guy who's only GOT 30.

The auctioneer says what am I bid, and I say "I bid FIFTY DOLLARS!
..and there's silence..............I hear a deep, raspy voice behind me
say: "I'll BID FIFTY ONE!"..........and I turn around and see 7 guys from a motorcycle gang standing behind me........

And then I say: "Gentlemen, just help yourself! This car is ALL yours!"
(That car might have belonged to a friend of theirs, and he might have left something in the car that I don't want to get caught with.........)-Bob
