a big ol' shot of nawzzz will take care of that problem

Oll sillyness aside the only way too really cool engine intake temp down is getting more air to pass around those parts and cool them down.Adding a cai only positions the filter farther away.Making it able to intake cooler air but that air still needs to pass through the hot part of the engine therefore heating it back up.
Don't even get me started on diesels. There is no such thing as cooler intake temps on a diesel engine. If you cool the intake down it does more bad than good.As you may or may not know diesels don't have spark plugs. The incoming air is heated so much that when the fuel and air mix it combusts creating the power stroke of the engines cycle.Cooler exhaust temps will help on boosted motors of any type by keeping the moving parts cooler and cooler working parts are more efficent and have a longer life and less chance of breaking.
