hotter tems under hood will rob hp...especially if the car is boosted (since they tend to have hotter underhood temps due to the turbo). thats the point i was tryin to make. only way to really tell if the header makes a big difference is with a dyno. sure u can try to tell from the seat of ur pants, but the most accurate way to tell is a dyno.
