another cause for idle problem could be a drity throttle body. I had the same problem, on my old motor, h23 it never went away. It is now starting to happen with my h22, only when it is humid or hot and i have been running it hard though, not as consistent as my old motor which happened all the time after, check all vacuum lines for leaks and every thing.
