street driven cars do not need a roll cage. there are five things you need to be safe with a caged street car or race car for that matter.

1. a good quality cage built to spec.
2. a correct helmet that is also spec
3. good harnesses that are to spec.
4. a certified seat w/ correct mounting.
5. a correct position for the harness bar, MOST IMPORTANT.

most people just cage a street car to say they have a roll cage in their car. but they normally dont have the propper precauitons to make the cage and car safe. common mistake...

its just not safe unless you plan on riding around with a helmet everywhere you go.
