If that guy had a good lawyer, it would be thrown out in court. This happan awhile back on another forum where he brag about it and did the same thing. Sold his car. Got arrest but when he face the judge, the lawyer pointed out it could have been anyone posted under his screenname and no way to prove it if it was actually him. From the police videos, not once where the camara was able to record a clean LIC. plate number. Plus, all his leather and jacket was never found at his house to show evidence it was him. Apprantly, he swapped out gear and helmet, advice by his lawyer.

Well, that guy ended up getting a large sump settlement from the county and the sherrif department. The whole ordeal backfire. Sad to say he was a smart one.
