Default KA24DE Timing Chain Replacement.

My old car (Shinmei's/ Franks current now) I dropped $1200 to get the timing chains replaced. My current car is a 1993 with 188,000 on the clock never been done before..... I took out the guides and replaced the top tensioner and it still rattles every once and a while.

It has to be done. But 1200 is just alot of money. And a few shops actually denied to work on my car due to the labor involved. How hard is it to do this really? It just seems like it will take alot of time. I have never done this before and I have no problem trying it but I don't wanna mess anything up obviously lol...... Any help advice etc would be much appreciated. Also curtesyparts.com has the kit for like 500 bucks and amsperformance.com has it for 300 some dollars. Is ams as good as OEM?
