Exclamation need an answer ASAP!

Hey guise, well it turns out that my new 2002 Lancer OZ has tires that are much too wide!

It came with 225/40 R18, with Racing Hart 18 inch wheels/rims.

the rear tires keep rubbing on the body whenever I hit a bump, and it's tearing up the top of the tires pretty bad.

the front tires have more clearance, and they only rub on the sides when i take a tight turn.

i have a full set of 215/35 R18 Kumho Ecstas with 18 inch Konigs in them, and i was wondering if 215 was as wide as I could go without rubbing??

i need an answer ASAP since i use my car everyday for my job (pizza delivery)

i already tried Tires Plus, but what the fuck do they know about anything. the guy said i would probably have to go down to 205 width, and that my lug pattern was 4x4.5

i've done my own searches and mostly came up with 4x114.3 for my car...and that's the spacing on the Konigs.

so here are my two questions:

what is the lug pattern/spacing on a 2002 Lancer OZ
and what's the widest tire you can get without rubbing?

thanks for the help!
