signaling people at an intersection, say a four way stop, no! if you do not know how to use a 4 way stop i dont feel bad for you. this seems to be a huge problem with people not knowing who is supposed to go first. i have had to signal all other three drivers on when to go because we would have sat there all fucking day if i didnt. i would just point from my car. or i give them the look like why havent you gone yet?
