Was making almost 500 rwhp safely on mine driving it to and from the track. Then I have seen stock motors with a 125 shot go kaboom.
It has more to do with the tune up and supporting components than anything else.
Run it lean and mean be ready for a failure of some sort. Run it kind of fat and happy (12.5 afr or lower) and it will last longer.
