Newbie Forum - Main
Introductions - Sub
Q&A - Sub

Give rights to those posts until the posts count is over a certain number...

That sounds good to me. If you wanna check out an example DSMtuners.com is the website i was talking about.

And yes limit posting to the noobs forum but still allow them access to search and read in the various tech forums. That way they can still learn a few things. And like you said as they receive a certain number of posts gradually allow them into some of the tech and various forums.

But take this into consideration as well ** and one word comments don't count as posts** And make that know they just dont post crap to get into the forums.
