I realize it takes ALOT to hit 150. You keep telling me this and I keep telling you I know.

As far as your friend hitting 160's with two 12's is even less likely than me hitting 150's with 2 15's. Memphis audio does have high end subs, but, I do not think you understand how much power 1100 watts is to each coil. Assuming that the 12's you are speaking of are DVC's, this would mean 4400 watts of power to two 12" subs. The new 12" W7's are not even close to powerful enough to handle 2200 watts per sub. The 13.5w7 can really only handle 1800-2k watts and only for a temperary amount of time. I seriously doubt any memphis audio subs can handle 2200 watts of REAL power, and if they can, I assure you they can not for long.

And lets just say your friend does have 4400 REAL watts, he would have to have an extra 2-3 battery setup. I am also very curious to what kind of car this "160 db's" setup is in.

Another thing: Its funny when people say "He hits 160's with his blah blah". This is similar to saying he runs 9's in the quarter with his car. It is unbelievable, and if he really did hit 160's you would know the exact number, just as if he ran 9's you would know it was a 9.89 or whatever.

None of the sound advices have a DB meter that goes over 150 db. Dale mabrys MIC is broken and Fowlers only goes to 150.

Anyone else at all know of anywhere in the Tampa Bay Area, that has a place I can MIC up my car? Hell I dont care if its outside tampa bay, please let me know.
