I have an 84 mustang 5.0. The starter in it recently went bad and replaced it with a high torque starter and it wouldnt catch the flywheel correctly even shimmed. So i bought an oem starter and same problem. What i dont understand is the starter that went bad was a stock starter and wasnt shimmed. Anything you can suggest will help thanks.
