well, its hard to say they arent built for torque, horsepower is a derivative of torque, the reason the numbers are so off is that this thing spins to 9.5k so no, torque is not why they spin the piss out of them. horsepower is. this thing makes as much torque as a heads/cam LS1.

hp = (rpm*tq)/5252

tq = (hp*5252)/rpm

lets say it only made 350wtq but at 9500rpm, it still makes 633rwhp. whereas these numbers are dead even at 5252
