Drifting 101-Basics
(This is all IMO and from what I've learned)
First off, when purchasing a 240 you need to make sure it hasn't been molested
too much. Lord only knows who/what has been messing around in the engine bay and how they drove it. Try and find a bone stock base model (i.e no power, power=heavier) You also want a dual cam...faster and fun times. I lucked out with my 240, its a virgin and a DOHC AND 5spd....You just gotta be in the right place at the right time!
*I personally think the pig nose looks better (SOHC) and you can put on the sexy lip but we are going for performance.* Make sure its a 5spd and you might want to get an lsd or even go as far as welding your differential. That makes sliding around a little easier than with open diff. You want to put good suspension on your car....ask around to see what is a good start for you. Go to a local shop and see what kind of cheap used coilovers they have to start practicing with.
Now onto actually drifting. Learn the feel of your car...learn to heel toe and clutch kick. Your e-brake can be your best friend or your enemy. You decide. (we get along quite well) Those are just a few things you can do to improve your drifting. oh and
LOTS OF TIRES!!!!!!!!!!!
Most importantly have fun. Be safe and think about shit before you do it....just remember...your not in your Honda anymore.

Ok I'm tired and bored now...A.D.D is kicking my ass....goodnight.
