Default testing waters 1993 supercharged ranger for sale

the story
1993 Ford Ranger
2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine, 5 speed manual transmission
2 wheel drive, stock 14 inch aluminum wheels

I learned pretty quickly that this machine has barely sufficient power to move onto a freeway onramp at a rate equivalent to other vehicles on the road, and with a load in the bed, its acceleration can best be described as "glacial" Many drivers who do not appreciate this truck's inability to get out of their way express their distress in all manner of enraged gesticulations. I felt compelled to rectify this situation with forced induction.
In terms of performance, it's not exactly a racing machine, but it is considerable quicker than it used to be. With the intercooler installed, boost tops out at 5 psi, so it's roughly 30% stronger than stock and drives like a stout V6 or a mild V8. The mass airflow system needs to be abandoned because of driveability and emissions issues if the throttle is opened too quickly
