Just thought I would add my two cents The LS is a horrible transmission for boost and even worse for NA. I had to rev higher than I needed to so I wouldnt fall out between shifts. And it takes a lot longer to get through the RPM band. Like Jason said. You usually want gearing to accelerate the quickest
