Im gonna disagree on this.
Does John Force pull 100 miles on a new ring and pinion set before he goes on the track right after breakin them?
nahh, but dont go and say well they only use those rearends a few times blah blah.
maybe they do but it a gear, it makes heat when it spins, only gets so hot, there is no heat cycle as people may think, and if there were or is, then would they possibly get hotter than when they were forged? no, so whats this heat cycle matter? heating a set of gears does nothing, they are matched together , wont spin unless the other spins, a set, matched, married, tied at the hip, heat matters none, im sorry.
unless im am proved wrong and see it for myself and mr wizard proves me wrong, im gonna go with the theory of beating them as soon as they get in, this isn't a motor....no offense, not trying to be a dick, im just stating my belief
