Yeah that is a little confusing, while racing I have to remove that extinquisher, it is not legal because it can turn into a projectile. Only a properly installed and anchored fire "system" is allowed that would have a button or lever to activate. If I have a problem at the track I will depend on the track workers to bring the extinquisher, hit my properly and actually functional kill switch (the alternator is isolated) and I will only worry about getitng my fat ass out of the car if I am not knocked out.

That is for the few street rides where I might be somewhere and something goes bad under the hood. I won't be spraying on the street usually so it is just a worst case secnario and who knows I might have to use it on some other poor slobs nightmare!
