The head is original however it was overheated when the headgasket blew. After a leakdown test,it was discovered #5 and 6 blown.
The head was disassembled,checked for cracks, and reassembled by the machine shop including new valve seals. They had to mill .016 to get the head straight.
Metal shavings is not likely but anything is possible. The machine shop cleaned the head and I blew it off again right before installation. I think Im going to just pull the cams and crank to see if I got oil to the head...
Is there anykind of "oil pressure orifice" on the 7MGE?
Anyone verify the head gasket position of installation?
