if your worried about compression and you cant get ahold of a tester, just do the poor mans compression test. take your rear leading plug out(the bottom one) and have someone crank her over while your hold your hand by the spark plug hole. youll be able to feel if its got some compression at least. do the same thing for the front housing. you wont get any compression numbers but it might give you an idea if its blown
