Well put.

I love Top Gear and have a global enough view to see their side of jokes. If people think that insults are due to jealousy, then those people live in a damn bubble. They were asking for a lot of the trouble they got, and it would have happened the same to Americans. I think it was more playing up the cultural differences than actual anti-american sentiment. Personally, I think outside views of our country help put our priorities and faults into perspective.

I think being referred to as Colonials is hilarious.

If you see that torn up bridge in the background right after they get on the road with their slogan'd up cars, that's the half of the I-10 bridge just east of Pensacola. If they though it was ridiculous that parts of New Orleans weren't put back after a year, they should know that hurricane Ivan knocked down the I-10 bridge a full year before that! Talk about lack of progress.
