and one last point, if they are correct that some of the openECU stuff was ripped from their product then the makers of the free stuff need to write that stuff out .. i support opensource but not ripping off anyone elses work.. they need to fix that if its true.

and they need to make sure the tools/code is supplied with the appropriate licence (GPL v3 springs to mind).
