155,000 mile civic, stock block and head... 9 bottles of nitrous, not one problem... 55 shot for 93 oct. and 116 c16 at the track with 75 shot.. 75 shot plus 75 horsepower in a 14 year old car.. Turbos are supposed to be checked to be rebuilt at 60K miles.. Short term and don't use it unless your racing it, I'd say Nitrous would last longer; a turbo/supercharger is always dragging on the motor even if its not being used, and its heavier to pull around. but turbos are so much fun, who can stop themselves from boosting it up !! After spending $120 the first month I got my nitrous kit, I desided I needed a turbo ( or two, hehe ).
This coming from a guy that is running Alcoy, nitrous, and twin turbos..
This is also assuming that they are PROPERLY TUNED !! Both can end the fun REAL quick if not monitored...
I love turbomax's car !! zzzz.....ZZZZ...zzzzz.., SSSWWWUUSSS !!
