You'll have to wait for the title, unless you both go down there and fill out this form:

Had he paid the extra $7, he could of gotten a same-day title...it only takes 5 minutes (at least that's all it takes in hillsborough county).

To register the car, you will need a valid DL and proof of insurance, as well as a Bill of Sale and title (or the attached form).
