You can get to all the bolts pretty easy from under the car, and the top two use a wrench from under the hood. it takes me about 30 minutes to remove all the bolts from the belhousing. And yes extensions and a swivel joint will be your best friend in this project.

Also, I usually remove the upper bolts first then the lower ones.
