It isn't that I haven't spent my time at the track or don't have the suspention, (from gator axles to trailing arms) it's just that 90% of races on the street are on the highway or some guy pulling up next to you and it just happens. Not often do you have someone pull up next to you and say
" Hey lets stop right here in the middle of the road and find a flagger to line us up then run to 100". If you are building a car for the strip then yeah, don't bitch about racing from a dig but if it's a daily driver then chances are if you have brains you aren't going to take the chance of breaking something. I like racing for the fun of it and I built a car to do so, but unlike most people that have built a civic to the level of the one I have, don't drive them to work everyday. Not to mention if I went any stiffer with my suspention it would beat me to hell everytime I got in it, Just not practical.
