Secondly the only reason the Marauder sucks from a stop is the crappy 4,000 r.p.m. stall they put in it. I hate going from a roll but I must tell you it is a different animal from 5-10 m.p.h. and on. Change the converter or gear the shit out of the car and it will bust high 13's all day, oh and it weighs almost 4,000lbs..

Mazdaspeed Protege (14.8 @ ??.??)
Volvo S60R and V70R (both have 0-60 times in the 5.5 sec range)
There are a few others, bored with looking. Many more in the 15.1-15.6 second range that could easily be "tweaked" just like the Merc.
