My mother has a 1998 Subaru Legacy GT...
She's been having some problems with it lately, and we r not sure what it is.
We did a coolant flush, b/c it was brown...and it's evaporating.
She would really like to know what is wrong with it, b/c she does NOT want to get rid of it. It's her baby...
Every time she takes it to the Subaru they tell her something different every time. They recently told us the timing is going bad and it was changed last year at the Subaru Dealer. Also, we were told by a guy who modifies cars that the car still has power but it might be losing it's compression.
When it goes into overdrive it gives a hard push forward which we were told that the transmission might be slipping.
So is there anyone on here that can come and take a look at it and maybe let us know what it is? Or can Refer us to someone?
