oh yeah and the reason i took the cover off was to paint it...but in my hastiness i gouged the fuck outta it ..so $20 and 6 hours of painting...down the pooper
I have done this many times. WTF is with that. The bolts just disappear. I was doing the same thing, and I dropped a bolt in daylight and it vanished without a trace. I never found it. It's probably still hitching a ride in some dark pit or crevice in my engine bay.
