no bashing ls/vtec its as reliable as you make it...if you spent the same amount of money for putting a h22 in (and making it reliable, i.e. NO BROKEN AXLE EVERY MONTH) and doing an ls/vtec...the ls/vtec or b20/vtec would be just as reliable. reliability is also very much based on the driver.
