civickid04: no the car doesnt need a new front bumper. it just needs some paint.

I know that the damge on the bumpers are very minor. I gave it a $700 extimate so that no one can fire back at me with BS suggesting i got my paint job at Macco's. I also realized that it will only cost about $400 or so to have the pros repaint the bumpers and the key marks.

I guess its good that you point out the fact that i reduced the sale price on the car by $1000; but yet the repairs only cost no more then $500.

also about the choice in color. Youre right, i've never painted a car nor have i done major body work before. But iv'e gone through enough paint jobs and i learn something new everytime. and trust me, most shops say they can match the paint as long as u know the color code.... im telling you, tats BS.....

soo i rather just stick with a basic color that i know EVERY painter can match... noo need to mix any paint nor pearl. Im SURE you cant go wrong with just simple black base color and tons of clear.....

i havnt had any bad complaints on the color of the civic... soo i guess i made a good decision this time....

But its obvious, im not as smart as you are tho.....
