up, up, down, down... no wait, that'll only give you 99 PCV valves.
There's no problem leaving it on there. On the KA it's behind the alternator, which is all the more reason to leave it. The only problem with the PCV is when you don't have the fresh air vent hooking back into the intake pipe, but that's only in rare cases. If you're having problems, replace it.
